Another Aphorism...

Often, as I find myself obliged to perform one or another momentary ritual or duty (the very stuff of my life), I'm also tempted to "take a day off." Doing so is often recommended, after all. But a job is like living, not the other way around. If I were to take a day off from living, I would surely die.
